Renting an apartment in New York?
This is what you are going to need to be armed with... otherwise, prepare to possibly lose your dream apt!

 Here is a list of the things you’ll need in order to submit an application for an apartment in New York City.  This way you will have it ready when the time comes to move forward with an application. 

1.  A letter of employment on company letterhead stating your salary, position and length of employment;

2.  Your two most recent pay stubs;

3.  A current-month bank statement;

4.  Most recently received tax return (including signature page);

5.  If you make any additional income or securities (i.e. trust funds, bonds, stocks, etc.) provide proof of such in the form of statements or copies of deeds;

6.  Lastly, we’ll need a copy of the front and back of your license.
