NEWARK - At Garden State Apartment's fourth meeting, guests learned how to make alternative investment with theirretirement plan (real estate, mortgages and notes, private placements, hedge funds and more). The discussion lead to what the IRS considers a prohibited transaction and who are disqualified persons. Guests also learned about the new tax law changes taking effect in 2010 and how this can help them to make "TAX FREE" investments.

With a self directed IRA from The Entrust Group, guests learned how to take control of their retirement account.
