Newark, NJ- Members of the award-winning NJ Apartment MLS (GardenStateApartments.com) celebrated at the newly renovated 60 Park Grill in Downtown Newark, NJ for GardenStateApartment's second annual holiday networking event on December 17, 2008. The doors opened at 6:30pm and welcomed over 100 landlords, property managers, real estate agents, and vendors to mix and mingle in the new downtown hotspot.
The venue was filled with experts in the multi-family industry who had an opportunity to rub elbows with small property owners, brokers, and executives from Fieldstone Properties, Community Strategies Investment, Morgan Properties, and other large apartment communities across the state.
“The event was fantastic,” said Andrew Sobel Esq. of Levy, Ehrlich, & Petriello and one of the event’s corporate sponsors. “This was easily one of the most fun and productive real estate events we have been to all year.” These sentiments were mirrored by the evenings three other sponsors: AVE by Korman Communities, Bollinger Insurance, and Floyd D. Townsend & Associates.
More than just a networking event in the rapidly changing Downtown Newark nightlife scene, Garden State Apartments members had a chance to voice their opinions of their experiences with the NJ Apartment MLS.
“We’ve had over 100 new leases come directly from Garden State Apartments since we began advertising with them!” said Priscilla Iturrino manager of Fieldstone Properties’ Mill Run at Union, NJ. She continued, “I really enjoy working with their team and the fact that they are local really makes them a great resource to us.”
The event was hosted by the system founder and industry consultant, Sunny Kancherla. Mr. Kancherla explained, “This event is a phenomenal opportunity for our members to get together in a holiday environment and really solidify the sense of community we are trying to build.”
