Remember, “Buyers are liars.” So here’s another quick way to gauge your client’s tastes. Even if a client is dressed in inexpensive clothing, don’t dismiss their purchasing ability or their taste. There will be something that will generally signify their status. Look at their shoes, watch, or car. If they have an expensive brand name like a Bulgari, Coach, or Cartier, it means they have a taste level and they can afford to spend. On the flip side, people who scream labels are looking for the high-end, showier properties. They may say they are looking for something right down the middle, but they are going to jump when you show them the bells & whistles.
