GardenStateApartments.com was founded in 2005 by a select group of property owners lead by Sunny Kancherla (MBA), a real estate professional and licensed NJ broker with over 10 years of experience in the industry. Formerly a Credit Manager for Wachovia Bank in New Jersey, Mr. Kancherla underwrote, closed, and managed transactions from $5 million to $250+ million in commercial real estate assets before leaving to found the NJ Apartment MLS.
Growing up in NJ, Mr. Kancherla's background includes being a tenant, landlord, rental agent, property manager, and commercial real estate lender. All of these experiences have allowed him to see the apartment renting process from many different perspectives. And this is why the site is so comprehensive and why it has emerged as the trusted source for rental information in New Jersey.
The Garden State Apartments team is made up of people just like y  ou. The staff has marketing professionals, writers, web developers, real estate agents, and investment advisors who have spent their lives as tenants, landlords, agents, and property managers.
